The Supreme Education Council to offer job opportunities during the Qatar Career Fair

The Supreme Education Council has completed its preparations for participation in the annual Qatar Career Fair (QCF) that is jointly organized by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar University and the Ministry of Labor to be held at the Qatar International Exhibition Center from April 10 – 14, 2011. Held under the patronage HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani this year’s event will run under the slogan “Write the next chapter in Qatar’s success.”

“The Qatar Career Fair offers opportunities to those seeking jobs in the various ministries, institutions and government agencies and introduces people to the choices available based on their qualifications, preferences, abilities and the needs of the Qatari labor market,” confirmed a reliable source in the SEC. “The exhibition provides the SEC a chance to clarify and explain the benefits, requirements and conditions of employment and encourage individuals to join the teaching profession and other professions to help achieve Qatar’s National Vision 2030.”

The SEC aims to offer several options for Qataris on employment and training, professional development and career guidance. All those wishing to work should seize this opportunity and visit the SEC booth at the Qatar Career Fair to identify the opportunities and the many options provided by the SEC. The SEC also aims to introduce people to the programs and educational initiatives as well as the employment benefits provided to high school graduates to encourage them to join the teaching force.

The initiatives represented in the diverse learning opportunities provided by the Community College of Qatar and the Higher Education Institute include counseling services and career guidance. The SEC is aiming through this event to invest in people’s capabilities to continually enhance the developmental process in the country especially in the educational field.

The SEC will distribute brochures and booklets containing information on employment opportunities and staff will be on hand to assist visitors on the online application process as no hand delivered applications will be accepted.
