Champneys bring expert formulas to Qatar

Champneys, a world-class spa established in 1925 which has attracted the likes of Princess Diana, David Beckham, Kate Moss, and Simon Cowell, is bringing its rich 90 year heritage of health and beauty expertise to the Gulf with the introduction of a luxurious line of bath and body products.

A seasoned expert in tranquility, Champneys is making it possible for people across Qatar to experience the luxury of total relaxation in the comfort of their own home, every day.

The collections within the Spa Indulgence and Spa Treatments were developed to help deliver the holistic benefits of visiting a Champneys Spa within the comfort of your own home. Knowing that people love to feel truly pampered, and that this can be difficult to do at home, Champneys developed the collections with the heritage and expertise of their Spa therapists to make everyday luxury attainable. As one of the largest employers of therapists in Europe, Champneys holds its experts with the highest esteem and developed products that reflect their extensive knowledge.

All products in the collection are tested and approved by professionally trained expert Champneys therapists. With our massage therapists so intricately involved in the development of the collection, we’ve been able to create bath and body products that truly deliver the luxury spa experience to the mass market.” 

The Spa Indulgence Collection is inspired by ancient global rituals intended to relax the body and mind. It is comprised of four collections: Oriental Opulence, Mediterranean Bliss, Exotic Retreat, and Thai Royale.

- Oriental Opulence: Inspired by traditional oriental beauty rituals and characterised by a blend of silk proteins, warming ginseng, ylang ylang, calming sandalwood and fragrant patchouli.

- Mediterranean Bliss: Reminiscent of the relaxed Mediterranean and sun-drenched climate of the Spanish hills, this range contains a blend of fig milk, olive leaf, and green tomato.

- Exotic Retreat: Marked by a rich blend of ylang ylang, coconut, and papaya that soothes the mind while nourishing the skin.

- Thay Royale: Lemongrass, ginger, and calming vanilla combined with vetiver and white tea extract to calm your senses and allow your stress to slip away.

The Spa Treatments Collection is used by the expert therapists at Champneys Spas. Designed to pamper and soothe, they boast restorative properties and include a variety of beautiful fragrances, as well as a range of hand and foot products.

- Citrus Blush: Characterised by an invigorating blend of orange peel, lemon oil, sweet almond oil, shea, and cocoa butter to nourish and uplift.

- Skin Comforting: A deeply nourishing collection contains a blend of sweet almond oil, chamomile, and wheatgerm extract to restore dry skin.

The bath and body collection is designed to deliver holistic wellbeing from the inside out, aiming to recreate the Champneys Spa experience. Global research supports the physical and mental benefits gained through spa treatments.  In a study on German data conducted by researchers from Florida State University and George Mason University, spa therapy was proven to have a positive effect on overall health, reducing absenteeism from work and hospitalisations.

Launched in partnership with Boots, a premier UK health and beauty brand, Champneys products will be available exclusively in Boots stores nationwide, starting February 21^st 2012. Prices will range from QAR40 to QAR85.
