The 3rd meeting of PWRC

The Permanent Water Resources Committee (PWRC) held its 3^rd meeting under the chairmanship of H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy & Industry on Wednesday 25/4/2012 at Kahramaa headquarters.

The meeting discussed the agenda, where the attendees took the required decisions, followed up the recommendations of the last meetings, reviewed the consultancy committee reports, development planning projects and plans for the use of treated water use.

The meeting also discussed the preparations of the seminar on Japan’s water technology & solutions to respond to the challenges that Qatar faces scheduled to be held in Doha in May.

It is worth to mention that PWRC was formed under Emiri decree No. 19 for 2011. Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “Kahramaa” was entitled to assume the general secretariat under the decision of the cabinet of ministers in the 35^thmeeting of 2011.
