2nd Annual Reggae Sunsplash – 2012 at InterContinental Doha Beach

Last year, over 1000 people attended the Reggae Sunsplash at the InterContinental Doha wherein residents from various nationalities turned out to pay tribute to The Legend Bob Marley.

This year, Reggae Sunsplash 2012 is back again by popular demand with a great line up of Live Performance by British Reggae Superstar Maxi Priest, Reggae Motion from Brazil by way of Los Angeles and Doha’s favorite Dj Kinky D from the UK.

Maxi Priest  is a multi platinum selling Reggae artist who has enjoyed a series of Number One Hits on Billboard Hot 100 Singles consecutively. In fact, he is the most successful reggae solo artist in the world, second only to legend Bob Marley www.maxipriest.com.

Reggae Motion is the hottest Afro Brazilian Reggae Band in Los Angeles right now that has taken the West Coast by storm. They have won the World Music Awards and they are responsible for the creation of the new fusion sound Samba Reggae. Fabio Assis, the lead singer of the band has also performed with renowned artists, including luminaries like Jimi Cliff, Julian Marley, Natirutz Cidade Negra, and many others. Fabio is the lead vocalist and founder of Reggae Motion.
