Al-Rayyan win HH Heir Apparent Handball Cup
Al-Rayyan team lifted the trophy of the 2012 HH Heir Apparent Handball Cup after beating Al-Jaish 26-23 in the final match held at the indoor hall of Al-Sadd SC on Wednesday.
Mr. Ahmad Al-Sheabi, President of the Qatar Handball Association (QHA) handed over the trophy and the gold medals to the players of Al-Rayyan team while Mr. Mohammad Al-Jaber, QHA Secretary General crowned Al-Jaish players. Al-Jaish qualified to the final match after beating Al-Gharafa 26-20 in the semifinals while Al-Rayyan registered a 32-31 victory over Al-Sadd.
The tournament witnessed the participation of the four top teams in the 2012 National Handball League.
