InterContinental Doha Hotel launched the second edition of its Annual Bridal Fair at its Al Wajba Ballroom on Thursday.
The two-day event features 18 exhibitors showcasing an array of wedding must-haves from wedding gowns, accessories, flower arrangement services and wedding venue. CEO of Souli Qatar Suhaila Rabaia al Harab together with InterContinental Doha Resident Manager Gilles Nicolas inaugurated the event which will run until today.
Commenting on the occasion, Gilles Nicolas said, ”This is the second wedding fair that the InterContinental Doha is organizing following the success of the first one last year. This is a great event that makes wedding planning a lot easier with the opportunity of meeting all wedding organizers in one place at the same time. Wedding experts present at the venue offer their tips and advices based on their experience of the latest trends, whether it is for an intimate wedding ceremony or a large and lavish event.”

It offers 257 guestrooms and a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 800 guests, a perfect venue for wedding”, Nicolas commented on the occasion.”
InterContinental Doha Senior Sales Manager Safia Abdullah Eqab said the annual fair takes into consideration the importance of wedding celebrations especially among locals. The hotel, she said, is one of the busiest venues in the country during wedding season which usually falls on first quarter the year, during summer and after Eid holidays.
She added, “Majority of our clients are locals but we have also organized weddings for other nationalities like Lebanese, Jordanian and Indians. Wedding events is very important occasion particularly for the Qataris so they go only for the best arrangements and packages. The items on display includes specially-designed abayas, traditional white gowns, photography services, flower arrangement and wedding planning services. The roster of exhibitors includes Black Moda, Photokina, Gulf Colours, Exotica, Occasions, Style, Florenza, Massis, Lafinesse, Center Wedding and Larissa.
