Steady progress for Final Table Tennis Olympic Qualification Tournament

The second stage of the 2012 Final Table Tennis World Olympic Qualification Tournament will be kicked off at Aspire Academy of Sports Excellence on Saturday.

The four day tournament features the participation of 47 countries where Qatar will be represented by Ahmad Khalil, Waleed Naser, German, Aya Majdi, Maha Abdulredha and Nora Al-Abri.

In Women Event, Lee Huang of Portugal, Lio Hadaskova of Britain, Nosova of Czeck, Jalia Ledvorzak and Sara Ramireiz of Spain qualified to the second stage. Antonio of India, Tee Chou of Chinese Taipei and Tiago of Portugal reached the second stage of Men’s Competition.

It is worth mentioning that the International Table Tennis Federation offers a prize fund of 16,000.00 Euros.
