Kahramaa launched bill payment via phone

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “Kahramaa” launched a new service for customers to pay their bills around the clock via phone. It comes within Kahramaa services it provides for customers to facilitate remote bill payment.

This service is the first of kind for electricity and water customers. It is part of Kahramaa future plans for customer services, as well, it serves its mission for the provision of high quality services for customers.

Kahramaa customers can make avail of this service by calling 991 from inside Qatar or +974 4494000 from outside, follow instructions, enter electricity number, to pay the outstanding bills via credit card. By the end of the transaction, the customer receives SMS indicating payment.

The new service saves time and effort. Customers can pay bills around the clock. It is added to the other existing payment methods. Customer can choose the favorite way to pay including Kahramaa website, Hukoomi, customer service centers, banks, QNB machines, visaphone, or Qtel.

It is worth to mention that Kahramaa and Qtel have launched a partnership for the two entities to provide shared services for all their customers, providing support for almost the entire population of Qatar by linking their payment systems, so that customers can pay bills and update their accounts at Qtel’s nationwide network of Self-Service Machines (SSM).
