With only 27 seconds after the winner, Hassan Tahous Al Naimi, a rider from Al Shaqab Endurance Team, finished in second place the endurance race CEI 160 Km in event that happened this weekend (June 2nd) in Rambouille, France.
Hassan did the race with Azim Du Florival and the average speed was 19,36 Km/h during 8h 14min 32sec of race that had 6 loops. The race was difficult because the weather was hot all day. The race had 33 riders, but 15 didn’t complete. The Qatari rider did a really good race. In the first loop he arrived 22nd with 17,21 Km/h and after he began take better positions (9th, 5th, 3rd , 2nd and 2nd). The better average speed of the set was in the last loop, they did in 26,64 Km/h. The winner in 160 Km was the French Laurent Mosti that did the race with Kilim de Fignols with 19,38 Km/h.
Hadi Ramzani Al Naimi is the manager of endurance at Al Shaqab and had a really good result with the team this weekend in this difficult race. The team was with 8 riders and 75% of their finished the races, with the distances between 160 Km and 130 Km, there was: Hassan Al Nuaimi, Faleh Bughenaim, Hadi Al Naimi, Mohammed Tahous, Hamad Al Marri, Sultan Salim Al Shamousi, Saad Al Dawsari and Nawras Alakhras.
The season in Europe is always hard for the team, but it’s a great opportunity to compete in high level and they always back to Qatar with really good results.
