Stenden University students proudly host “A Night In Hollywood”

Stenden University students proudly hosted “A Night In Hollywood” at the Ritz Carlton on Friday, 15^th of June 2012. The audience had a red-carpet welcome and was entertained as celebrities surrounded by photographers and enjoyed being part of the glamour.

The purpose of the event was to raise funds for Qatar Charity’s projects supporting communities in Somalia with various daily needs (transportation, sewing machines, dairy farming and sheep farming). The event was attended by 190 guests.

The program included a stand-up comedian, “King and Queen Hollywood” and ended off with a “Minionaire” Raffle. The students are grateful for the support of gold, silver and bronze sponsors – Qatar Building Company, The Ritz Carlton, Al Jaber Engineering, Al Jaber Trading and Contracting, Snow Communications, Al Nakheel Agriculture and Trading, La Noce, Mini Cooper Al Fardan Automobiles, Ginger Camel, Sannine Restaurant.
