QP diamond sponsor of Milipol Qatar 2012

The Milipol Qatar Committee has signed a Diamond category sponsorship contract with Qatar Petroleum (QP), according to which QP is announced as the diamond sponsor of the 9th International Exhibition of Internal State Security (Milipol Qatar 2012) taking place here between October 8 and 10.

Milipol Qatar has achieved great success in the security field encouraging the largest industrial firms worldwide to participate in the exhibition showcasing their latest equipment and machinery in the safety and security field, President of Milipol Qatar Committee Brigadier Nasser Bin Fahad Al-Thani underlined in a press conference on the occasion.

QP has provided financial support amounting to QAR 400,000 in addition to booking 261 square meters, Al-Thani said adding that the Committee takes pride in the contribution and asserting that all preparations are underway as planned.

From his part, QP’s Security Risks Department Director Abdullah al-Jabir has expressed QP’s thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Interior for its efforts in organizing Milipol Qatar 2012,  saying it’s the largest exhibition in the region, which the Ministry has been organizing since 1996 in cooperation with the French counterpart and has been witnessing an increasing success since its first launch.

Under the guidance of HE Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry and QP Chairman and Managing Director, QP takes pleasure in being among the main supporters of this event and is proud of being selected as the diamond sponsor of Milipol Qatar 2012, he added.
