Nael Attiyat appointed DHL Express Qatar Country Manager

DHL, the world’s logistics company, has appointed Nael Attiyat as the Country Manager for DHL Express in Qatar, overseeing the strategic development of one of DHL Express’ key markets in the MENA region.

Mr. Attiyat has over fourteen years of experience in the express industry, eleven of which were spent in DHL as he began his career in 1996 with DHL Jordan.

Since then he has held several key positions including Country Commercial Manager in both DHL Jordan and DHL Qatar. Most recently, Mr. Attiyat was the Director of Sales, Marketing & Customer Service in a logistics company in Saudi Arabia.

“It is an exciting time for DHL Express in Qatar with 170 employees stationed at our 10 service points serving over 1,600 loyal customers across the State. I am very excited to be back in Qatar as the country is rapidly developing to achieve the goals of the National Vision 2030, and DHL Express is ready to serve the growing demand for simple and efficient express logistics solutions as the private and public sectors continue to advance,” said Mr. Attiyat.

Mr. Attiyat holds a B.A. in Geophysics and a Mini- MBA from Rutger University in New York. He has also been honored with several awards including Sales Person of the Year twice, a prestigious internal DHL award, and the regional award for Yield improvement for DHL Jordan.
