Harper’s Bazaar Arabia today announced the launch of a Qatar Special Edition that will be focused on the style and luxury of Qatar, one of the world’s most exciting up and coming fashion markets. Published in September 2012, the Harper’s Bazaar Qatar Special Edition will feature the ultimate autumn/winter luxury must-haves, insights into Qatar’s fashion and lifestyle influencers and exquisite fashion photo shoots set in Doha.
Launched in Dubai in 2007, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia is the highest selling international luxury monthly fashion magazine in the Middle East covering everything from what’s new to what’s next. It has built its reputation and local following on the legacy of sister publications around the world merging the best in international trends with locally produced fashion to ensure it is relevant to the regional market.

Editor in Chief of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Louise Nichol (pictured), said that a focus on Qatar was a natural development for the style-setting, fashion-forward luxury magazine and that she was excited to showcase Qatar to a wider audience. “Qatar is one of the most fashion aware markets in the GCC, and Qatari women – already dedicated readers of Bazaar – demand the ultimate in luxury, which is why we have decided to dedicate a special edition of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia to the country,” she said.
“From Doha’s style setters to the limited edition autumn/winter products being produced exclusively for the Qatari market, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia’s Qatar Special Edition will showcase the very best of Qatar’s fashion and lifestyle scene.”
The special edition will combine all elements of the local fashion market, including world-renowned designers who have recognised the importance of the Qatari market and the people of Qatar influencing the fashion. To celebrate the launch there will be a glamorous invitation-only reception at the Crystal Lounge at W Doha in September hosted by Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Editor-in-Chief, Louise Nichol.
