“Who is the Honored?” was a gala dinner organized by Stenden University students doing their minor in Event Management in order to recognize the performance and contribution of their professors. The students are studying Event Management as part of their Business Administration bachelor program in International Business & Management Studies.
The study program International Business & Management Studies IBMS has recently been approved by the Supreme Education Council of Qatar. This four-year bachelor program is taught in English and its European degree is recognized in Qatar and globally. Admission is open until the end of August 2012 for studies starting in September 2012.
The students chose the best four professors from Stenden University Qatar through a survey. The gala dinner was also a charity event and was held on Friday, June 22nd at the Hilton Hotel. It was organized by “Premium Events” Stenden University Qatar’s students: Fatma Al-Mulla, Heba Al-Kalla, Manal Al-Mesleh, Mariam Abu Ajiena, Maryam Alshamlan, Nada Al-Khater, Lolowa AlAttiya, Abdulrahman Al-Shaibi, Mahmoud Hellis and Khalil Siam.
The event was sponsored by Qtel and the program included Ahmad Salem (guitar player), Mohammed Kamal (stand-up comedian), beat box show (Ahmed Abe Zeid), and a break dance group. The audience also had the chance to win different prizes from Faces and Qtel in two draws that took place that night.
“Who is the Honored?” was a successful event in which students and professors had the chance to enjoy a great show and excellent dinner in a very nice and comfortable environment. All proceedings of the event were donated to Qatar Charity for one of their key projects.
