Stenden Students Showcase Bollywood and Hollywood in a Grand Event

Radiant Events, a group of 10 students from Stenden University Qatar, hosted the first Bollywood meets Hollywood- Charity Ball in Qatar. The event was held at Grand Hyatt, Doha on the 25th of June 2012. The inspiration from both Indian and American film industry was portrayed through the ambience and entertainment of the evening.

Catering to 250 guests was accomplished by the gracious venue of Grand Hyatt. All proceeds of the event went to social support in Pakistan through Qatar Charity.

The students organized the event as part of their Event Management studies of the International Business and Management Studies program taught at Stenden University Qatar. The study program IBMS has recently been approved by the Supreme Education Council of Qatar. This four-year bachelor program is taught in English and its European degree is recognized in Qatar and globally. Admission is open until the end of August 2012 for studies starting in September 2012.

The support given from many sponsors such as Gulf Group, Asco, Intertech, Teleco International, Apollo Clinic, Habibs Hair Salon and Gulf Agency Company and many generous donations has contributed to the success of the event.
