Qatar suffer defeat against Kuwait in Asian U-22 qualifiers

Qatar Juniors football team suffered a 0-2 defeat against Kuwaiti counterparts in the group C match of Asian U-22 qualifiers in Malaysia on Sunday. Hamad Al-Harbi and Sharida Al-Sharida scored for Kuwait.

After Sunday’s defeat, the Qatari team occupied the third place with 6 points behind Kuwait and Iran who have secured their places in the finals. The Qatar team will play one more match against Tajikistan on Tuesday. Qatar Juniors football squad is distributed in group C alongside Kuwait, Maldives, Bahrain, Iran and Tajikistan.
