Beach Handball team qualify to World Games 2013

Qatar’s Beach handball team confidently booked a place in the World Games 2013 in Colombia, following their convincing 2-1 win over hosts Oman at the conclusion of the prestigious Beach Handball World Championship 2012 in Oman on  Friday.

Despite  Fans’ pressure, the Beach handball squad displayed a widely-praised performance against the hosts and cruised their way to the World Games of 2013 will take place in the city of Cali, Colombia from July 25 to August 4.

Some 12 teams competed in the men’s tournament divided into two groups where Qatar  is pooled in  group (B) alongside Croatia, Egypt, Spain, Uruguay, and  Kuwait , as group (A) includes Oman, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine, Bahrain, and Australia.
