Sheraton Doha announces President’s Award Winner 2011

Starwood Hotels & Resorts every year gives out the President’s Award to recognize those Associates who have best demonstrated the Starwood Cares culture. These Associates may come from all levels and from different properties in the Middle East, but they all have displayed exemplary acts of Starwood Cares.

This award recognizes those that have been a pillar of support in the Sheraton Doha to their Associates, gone the extra mile for their Guests, contributed to the Sheraton Doha’s success and have brought joy and happiness to the Community. These Associates are Living the Starwood Cares culture and have inspired many to follow in their footsteps. We are pleased this is the time to give recognition to our unsung hero Ahmed Fathi who is Living the Starwood Cares Culture and making an impact.

By celebrating the achievements of Associates like Ahmed Fathi, we hope to bring recognition to all Associates in the Sheraton Doha and inspire other Associates to Live the Starwood Cares Culture through our Associates achievements like Ahmed.

Upon presentation of the award, Steven Kalczynski, General Manager added, “Ahmed is a leader who leads by example and is there to support others as needed. He is a continuous learner and always strives to provide the best support and exceed the expectations to his colleagues and guests.”

Diyaa Daoud, Area Director of Finance also commented, “Ahmed is truly deserving of this award and has worked very hard over the past nine years assisting me in this capacity.”
