Darwish Technology receives ISO Certification

Darwish Technology, the technological arm of Darwish Holding, has announced a milestone achievement in becoming certified to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems Standards and Guidelines.

Mr. Bader Abdullah Al Darwish, Chairman of Darwish Holding, said: “This certification is the culmination of years of hard work, consistent top-quality performance and the dedication of our employees at Darwish Technology. Though we have been operating under the guidelines of ISO standards for many years, we believe that our decision to become ISO 9001:2008 Certified is a proactive step that not only anticipates the demands of our customers, but also demonstrates our commitment to providing quality services”.

Mr. Jack Mollison, Head of Certification at Quality Austria said: “ISO 9001 is a set of international standards and guidance documents for quality management and quality assurance. The standard represents an international consensus on good management practices, policies and procedures with the aim of ensuring that an organization can, times and again, deliver the product or services that meet the customer’s quality requirements.”

“This certification further strengthens Darwish Technology’s commitment to continuously improve their products and services that will meet or exceed its customers’ expectations. Darwish Technology’s customers can be confident about the company’s dedication to continuously maintain the highest effectiveness and responsiveness in achieving its goal of total customer satisfaction”.

The certificate was awarded to Mr. Bader Abdullah Al Darwish, by the Head of Certification at Quality Austria, Mr. Jack. Present at the ceremony were Mr. Ziad Asmar, Executive Director of Darwish Technology, Mr. Sunil Zakharia, GM of Quality Austria Qatar and Mr. Roland Obeid, Division Manager of Darwish Technology.

The new certification covers Darwish Technology’s scope in sales, retail, distribution, marketing, design, maintain, repair, and research and development associated to electronics and all type of Low Current Systems to all customers and industries.
