Training Centers Chess Open Championship begins

Qatar’s local training Centers Chess Open Championship (Juniors U-14 year, male and female) began at the boys center in New Salata area in Doha on Sunday. The championship will continue until 18 July 2012 with participation of 51 players.

Spoke to reporters on Saturday, Mr. Yousef Mahmoud Al-Motawa, the board member of Qatar Chess Association (QCA) revealed that the championship comes in the frame of QCA’s strategy to circulate the game among all community categories.
