Qatar to participate in West Asian Football Championship
The Qatari football team will participate in the West Asian Football Championship to be held in Kuwait in December 2012.
The championship will feature the participation of 12 teams including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, Iran and Kuwait.
The draw of the tournament will be held one month before the championship where the teams will be distributed into three groups. It is worth mentioning that Kuwait won the last edition of the championship after beating Iran 2-1 in the final match.
