The annual summer activities organised by the Qatar Police Sports Federation (QPSF) for Ministry of Interior (MoI) officers’ children for the fifth year in a row started recently.
The activities will feature many entertainment, sports and cultural activities. Visits to various security departments and state institutions would be held as part of the programme. Children aged between 6 and 12 years old will participate in the activities under the supervision of trainers from the Qatar Police Sports Federation.
On the first day, there were introductory programmes during which the children introduced themselves and met each other. Some of the sports activities were also held in addition to lectures on safety, security and self-defense. The kid’s police magazine ‘Shurti Sadeeqi’ was introduced to the children.
The participating children visited the Museum of Islamic Art, Qatar Shooting and Archery Association in Lusail as well as the Aqua Park on Salwa Road. The first week of the activities ended on Thursday at Zainab Independent School for Girls in Aziziya.
