Stage set for Sheikh Jassim football Championship

The official competitions of the prestigious Sheikh Jassim Football Championship Cup 2012 – 2013 will get underway on Wednesday. The event will bring together some 18 football clubs from both the first and second divisions who were  pooled  into four groups.

Group A includes Lekhwiya, Al-Gharaffa, Al-ARabi and Al-Shamal, group B includes Al-Rayyan, Al-Khiraitiyat, Umm Slal, Al-Markhia and Al-Shahania, as group C includes Al-Sadd, Al-Wakrah, Qatar, Al Sailiyiah and Musaimeer and Group D includes, Army, Al-Khor, Al-Ahlli and Muaidir.
