Msheireb Properties hosts iftar tent at the Msheireb Downtown Doha project

Local construction workers and Msheireb residents at the Downtown Doha project are pictured breaking their fast at the iftar tent, which has been specially set-up during the Holy Month of Ramadan by Msheireb Properties.

This year, Msheireb Properties is partnering with Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al-Thani’s Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) to ensure that the Msheireb neighbourhood as well as construction workercan break their fast with a healthy Iftar meal in a traditional Ramadan environment.

The Tent is open during the whole month of Ramadan and is part of Msheireb Properties outreach program to supporta wide range of social and humanitarian programmes in Qatar. At Msheireb Properties, the rights and well-being of labours are at the core of the company’s values. Msheireb’s CSR initiatives include the Box Appeal campaign, free IT training workshops for construction workers in addition to the ‘Safety in the Work Place’ campaign aimed at fostering a positive safety culture among construction contractors.
