Qtel’s Mozaic TV brings London 2012 Olympics into play

Residents of the world’s most sports-loving nation are set to take a front row seat at the upcoming London 2012 Summer Olympic Games, thanks to Qtel’s Mozaic TV service.

Customers can watch the world’s greatest athletes compete for Olympic Gold Medals on OSN Sports channels, OSN Olympic channels and OSN Olympics news, available on Mozaic TV. With more than 155 hours of live coverage in high definition on 13 channels, with English and Arabic commentary options, the coverage runs from 27 July to 12 August 2012.

Qatar will be proudly represented at the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games by 12 elite athletes competing in four events – Aquatics, Athletics, Shooting, and Table Tennis – with both men and women taking part.

The games will be officially opened on 27 July at an Opening Ceremony inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II, and a short film starring Daniel Craig as secret agent James Bond will be screened during the television coverage of the ceremony. Sir Paul McCartney will also perform at the end of the ceremony.
