On the 14th night of Ramadan, Qatar Tourism Authority, joined Qatar for the first time in celebrating Ramadan’s colourful and cultural festivity, Garangao, by welcoming children and their parents at their heritage stand in Souq Waqif and distributing the traditional nuts and sweets to all passer-by’s.
In today’s increasingly fast-paced multicultural society, traditions and folklore have become increasingly meaningful for children and the community and QTA is proud to have been part of this community initiative that not only helps preserve the heritage and tradition of Qatar but also spreads joy amongst the children. QTA looks forward to taking part in the nation’s tradition celebration in many years to come.
