MoI to launch awareness traffic campaign

Ministry of Interior (MoI) will launch a traffic awareness drive on Sunday. The main objective of the traffic campaign is to raise awareness on the risks of using mobile phones while driving. As part of the drive, traffic patrols will roam in parts of the country to alert drivers and warn them on danger of talking over the phone while driving.

They will provide advice and guidance to get rid of this act that reduce concentration of the motorist and will lead to traffic accidents. Along with this, the awareness drive will be spread across the media to highlight the threats posed by this act that endangers life of motorists and pedestrians.
