Jaidah Group organises traditional Iftar for its employees

Jaidah Group – one of the most influential and successful companies in Qatar – has announced that its traditional staff Iftar took place on Thursday August 2 at Doha’s Regency Halls.

On the Holy occasion of Ramadan, the management of Jaidah Group invited all staff to the Regency Halls for the event, which began at 6pm. Almost 500 staff attended on the evening at the venue, which is located near the Mall Road near D-Ring.

A traditional Iftar took place after sunset, followed by an evening program which included a ‘lucky draw’ raffle of 32 prizes for Jaidah Group employees. The prizes up for grabs were pretty impressive, ranging from grill ovens, microwave ovens, mobile phones, video cameras and portable DVD players manufactured by  ‘blue chip’ names such as Black and Decker, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and Fuji. The prize at the top of the pile was a 46” LCD television from Sony.

Jaidah Group’s Chief Development Officer Mohamed Jaidah, commented, “Our annual staff Iftar is a great way for us to celebrate Ramadan together and strengthen morale among our employees by coming together in numbers during the Holy Month.

“In addition to this, it also gives us the chance to reward our staff for another year of great endeavour and hard work with the prize draw that we held after the Iftar. The prizes up for grabs were pretty special, and 32 members of staff left with a prize. “What we want to say to our staff is this: Jaidah Group relies on you for its success and the management recognise this and are very grateful for your efforts. Coming together at Ramadan works on so many levels and this event is an important part of Jaidah’s efforts not only to celebrate the Holy Month, but to strengthen the bond between employer and employee, as well as among the employees themselves.”
