Traffic diversion at Univesity Intersection

Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announces a temporary traffic diversion at the Intersection of Al Khafaji Street and Jamia Street, as in the illustrative sketch, for four days beginning from Thursday, 09/08/2012.

This diversion is in order to complete the works for changing University roundabout to signalized intersection and necessary modification works of the signals at the nearby intersections. Once the works are completed, this new intersection will greatly help to reduce traffic congestion and ease traffic flow on the street.

While apologising the incoveniences caused, Ashghal appeals all commuters to abide by the traffic guidelines at the diversion.
