Air Masters crowned QSports Leagues Ramadan volleyball champions

‘Air Masters’ produced some dominant attacking play to ensure they were crowned champions of the inaugural QSports Leagues Ramadan Volleyball tournament.

They triumphed 3 sets to 1 in the final against ‘Team Nepal’ taking the first set 25-21. Team Nepal fought back in the second set to tie the game but the Air Masters upped their game even further taking the final 2 sets and the title with some dominant attacking play. Great off the ball movement and fakes saw the Air Masters produce some fantastic spikes to win the game in style.

The league which has been supported by ILoveQatar.Net and Go Sports is the first Ramadan volleyball tournament launched by QSports Leagues. With the support of the Qatar Olympic Committee they have also organized a volleyball tournament for women with the final to be held in the week commencing 5th August.

Qasim Khalid – QSports representative explained – ‘it was great to see such a large crowd attend the final – the atmosphere inside the volleyball hall was pretty intense and I think all the spectators enjoyed watching such a competitive final with some fantastic displays of skill by both teams  – congratulations to the champions Air Masters’.

Air Masters will be awarded their medals and trophies at an official prize ceremony on Friday evening at Al Wakra Sports Stadium.
