Tasweeq Ataa during Ramadan Sohour

Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Company Ltd (TASWEEQ) Q.J.S.C hosted Ramadan Sohour for its staff at the renowned La Cigale Hotel.

During the holy month of Ramadan, Tasweeq organised ‘Tasweeq Ataa’ (or Tasweeq’s donation), a fundraiser within the company where the staff had the option of making personal charitable contributions, the collective proceeds of which went to Qatar Charity, which is focusing on charitable works towards the crisis in Syria.

Mr. Saad Al-Kuwari, Tasweeq’s CEO said, “On behalf of Tasweeq staff, it is my honour to have presented the donation to Qatar Charity, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. I also thank Tasweeq’s staff for having contributed generously towards this good cause to make Tasweeq’s donations a success.”

This donation is part of Tasweeq’s Corporate Social Responsibility plan for 2012, whereby community support is a priority to Tasweeq commitment and contribution to society.

The Sohour was also attended by Mr Ali Al-Kubaisi, Fundraising Manager, Qatar Charity.
