In Brief: Based in post-war Tokyo, this award winning film follows the interweaving lives of a reluctant mechanic, an aging novelist and a bar owner. Winner of 12 Awards at the 2006 Japanese Academy Awards, Always: Sunset on Third Street is a nostalgic, sincere and funny exploration of a bygone era and a neighbourhood filled with optimism for a better future.
Screening in the Museum of Islamic Art auditorium, Always: Sunset on Third Street is presented in Japanese with English and Arabic subtitles.
