Most prominent Algerian singers, Khaled and Baaziz, sing “Mazal Wakfin” alongside Warda

Nedjma, part of the Qtel Group, has launched a new song and video-clip in tribute to the diva Warda Al Jazayria (pictured) for the fiftieth anniversary of the independence of Algeria.

The launch is a continuation of its “Mazal Wakfin” (Still standing up) national campaign on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary. The clip shows the images of the last TV spot filmed by Warda, and other previously-unseen footage taken during filming of the late Warda Al Jazayria, Khaled and Baaziz singing “Nhabek Ya Bladi … Mazal Wakfin”.

It includes words and moving images of the prominent artists singing “Mazal Wakfin”, surrounded by a crowd of Algerians and Algerian women of all generations holding national flags.

This video-clip in tribute to the Diva is being broadcast from Sunday, August 12, on the national and international TV and radio stations, and on the official Nedjma pages of Facebook and YouTube as well as on www.nedjma.dz.
