Over 13,000 Iftar meals served daily

Regency Halls has helped a number of charitable organisations provide more than 13,000 Iftar meals per day, for a total of 377,000 meals served, to the needy throughout this year’s Ramadan. A variety of Iftar meals being prepared daily amounted to 55,680 hours of work since the beginning of Ramadan.

The meals were made from 2,030kg of spices, 160,882kg of mutton, 179,916kg of chicken, 76,650kg of rice as well as 330 packets of dates and 377,000 bottles of fruit juice, laban and water. Pictured above are some of the Regency Hall employees who helped prepare the Iftar meals.
