QSL schedule released

One month before the kick off of the Qatar Stars League; the Qatar Stars League Management (QSLM) released the match schedule for the 2012/2013 edition which will begin on September 15.

The first match will be played between Al Sadd and Al Arabi at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. On the same day, Al Khor will take on Al Kharaitiyat while Umm Salal will play Eljaish at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium. On September 16, three more matches will be played to complete the first round.

Al Rayyan will take on Qatar Sports Club, Al Sailiyah will play title holders Lekhwiya while Al Gharafa will host Al Wakra to complete the three matches on September 16. The Qatari football season began with the Sheikh Jassim Cup, in which Emir Cup holders Al Rayyan emerged victories after edging Al Sadd 1-0 in the final.
