Darwish Technology & Gigaset present first full touch phone for the home

Gigaset, one of the world’s largest phone manufacturers, has recently launched the Gigaset SL910 A, a new flagship model for the home and the first of its kind to offer full touch operation.

The Gigaset SL910 A will be available at all Fifty One East stores located in, Al Maha Center, City Center Doha, and Lagoona Mall.

Brilliant display and intuitive user interface

The large, high-quality and precision full touch display (8.1 cm diagonal) of the Gigaset SL910 supports its many convenience functions. As a result, the phone is very easy and intuitive to use by fingertip. The address book has space for up to 500 vCard entries with up to eight numbers each and data can be transferred with the PC or mobile phone quickly and easily by Bluetooth or a mini-USB port. Three “home screens”, one of which can be personalized with frequent contacts and useful functions, means that all important features are directly available on the display. 

The full brilliance of the 6.8 cm x 4.5 cm color display is demonstrated in particular when photos are presented on it. The handset’s internal memory has space for up to 240 photos, which can be compiled to make a slideshow which can be played automatically. 

The Gigaset SL910A has won the red dot design award 2011 for its high-quality finish. A silver colored housing of polished real metal surrounds the capacitive full touch display. It also matches the handset’s design language with its gently rounded metal surface.
