FC Bayern Munich defeats Qatar in football friendly

German giants FC Bayern Munich have defeated the national team of Qatar in a friendly match at the Allianz Arena on Friday. The Bundesliga outfit won the match through a lone goal by 17-year old youngster Nikola Jelisic.

The Qatari national team is currently in Munich for a 2014 FIFA World Cup preparation camp and the friendly match was arranged on short notice. The national team squad will lock horns against Uzbekistan in the last round’s match of Asian Zone Qualification for FIFA World Cup finals 2014 scheduled in Brazil.
