QP to sponsor Volleyball Club World Championship

QP to sponsor Volleyball Club World Championship

The organizing committee of the 2012 FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship will hold a press conference on Monday to announce Qatar Petroleum (QP) as official sponsor of the championship. 

The tournament will be held in Doha from 13 to 19 October, 2012. The drawing of lots ceremony for the Championship took place in Doha, Qatar on 02 September.

In men’s competition, Trentino Diatec of Italy, Tigres de la Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon of Mexico, Al-Rayyan Sport Club of Qatar and a yet-to-be-determined team from South America will compete in Group (A) while Group (B) includes Zenit Kazan of Russia Skra belchatow of Poland, Zamalek of Egypt and Al-Arabi of Qatar.
