QSports gets bigger and better, a sporting bonanza for residents of Qatar

QSports Leagues officially launched their third season of sporting leagues and activities for all residents of Qatar and announced an exciting expansion in the range of sports and events that they will be offering to both men and women.

The season will commence in early October and anyone wanting to participate is able to register on the QSports website and indicate which sports or activities they are interested in. In addition to the regular sports leagues of soccer, cricket, basketball and volleyball, QSports revealed that they will be running leagues for touch rugby, badminton, Frisbee, tennis and starting a new under 15 soccer league.

Go Sports will continue to provide sponsorship for the leagues.

Mr. Ghanim Al Mohannadi – the founder of QSports explained ‘we have close to 3000 QSports members and I have been delighted to see the enthusiasm with which both Qatari’s and expats have embraced QSports – I hope that by offering an even greater range of sports even  more people will be interested in playing  and enjoying sports here in Qatar’

Qasim Khalid – a QSports representative said– ‘we hope that after the exciting  summer of sport with Qatar’s success in the London Olympics that people will be inspired to join one of our leagues  - it’s easy as you can sign up as an individual or as part of a team’.
