Latino, the Sheraton Doha’s award winning restaurant, has introduced a new signature dish to Qatar – the sizzling Parillada.
Originating in South America, the Parrilada is a unique and delicious take on the traditional BBQ. Presented as five skewers spectacularly dangling off a special metal rack, options include beef, chicken, seafood, vegetable or fruit – or any combination you choose.
Parriladas are included on Latino’s a la carte menu, but twice a week – Sundays and Wednesdays – a special all-you-can-eat option is offered. The Parillada has already proven to be popular in just a few short weeks and has become the restaurant’s “signature” dish”.
The all you can eat feast is cooked “live” in the restaurant’s open kitchen and costs QR190 for just food or QR250 for house beverages including signature house cocktails with South American flair. There are five skewers in all and it is served with selection of side dishes at the table along with a salad buffet and if you have room, dessert.

“It’s truly an authentic South American-style feast right here in Doha,” says Latino’s Assistant Manager Marcela Gontijo who herself hails from the vibrant country of Brazil. “The Parillada is a very traditional way to enjoy meat and seafood in many South American countries and one that really emphasizes sharing food amongst friends and family.
Latino’s other dishes including Peruvian-style fish and seafood ceviches and other dishes featuring the freshest meats and seafood all served with South American flair.
“The restaurant is now open seven nights a week, and has one of the most warm and welcoming vibes in the city. Latino’s popular Columbian three piece band makes this one of the most entertaining and exciting spots in the city to meet,” says Marcela.
