Qtel convenience comes to Al Meera’s markets

Qtel customers now can access mobile products and services closer to home, as the company is opening kiosks in all branches of the Al Meera Supermarket, the country’s largest neighbourhood supermarket chain, thanks to a new agreement.

Senior executives from Qtel and Al Meera announced the agreement at a signing ceremony in early September. Under the agreement, Qtel will open “Shop in Shops” in Al Meera branches across Qatar. Qtel’s “Shops in Shops” are boutiques that offer the same range of high-quality mobile products and services that customers have come to expect. “Shops in Shops” bring greater convenience to customers, who can subscribe to a range of services such as Hala, Shahry, Broadband and Fixed Lines.

Founded in 2005, Al Meera is the country’s favourite neighbourhood retailer. It provides a wide range of high-quality products in a local, friendly environment. Al Meera is the largest supermarket chain in Qatar, with more than 20 locations. To better serve the needs of its diverse customers, it is also rapidly expanding.
