Qatar to participate in GCC Aquatics Championship

Qatar will participate in the 22^nd GCC Aquatics Championship to be held in Manama, Bahrain from 19 to 22 September 2012.

As announced by the Qatari Swimming Association (QSA), Eisa Khalifa Al-Zaraa, QSA Assistant Secretary General will lead the Qatari delegation to participate in the championship.

The Qatari squad includes; Ahmad Gheith Attari, Hamad Ayedh Al-Ebaidi, Mohammad Abdulrahman Al-Ubaidan, Nasser Sahim Al-Sheraim, Hassan Abdulrahman Al-Ebaidan, Abdulrahim Abdulali, Mohammad Abdullah Bu Hindi, Abdulrahman Mubarak Al-Mohannadi, Khalid Hassan Bilal, Mohmmad Abdullah Al-Nabit, Omar Hisham Omer, Abdulrahman Hesham Mohammad, Nouh Abdulaziz Al-Khelaifi, Abdulrahman Al-Kuwari, Waleed Daloul, Nasser Hassan, Abdullah Al-Yahri, Meshal Hassan Bilal, Yaqoub Abdulaziz Al-Khelaifi, Abdulaziz Hasan Al-Ebaidli and Muslim Abdullah Al-Nabit.

The first technical meeting of championship will be held on Monday, 17 September while the second technical meeting will be staged on Wednesday. The previous edition of the championship was held in Kuwait where Qatar occupied the second place with 17 medals.
