Vodafone Qatar congratulates Al Sadd on winning the QSL opening game

As the official sponsor of Al Sadd football club, Vodafone Qatar, shared with the team their joy of winning the opening game of the Qatar Stars League against Al Arabi.

Hosted by Mr. Abdulaziz Al Mahmoud, Mr. Richard Daly, CEO of Vodafone Qatar, attended the opening game which took place at Jassim Bin Hamad’s Stadium. The match was packed with excitement and competitiveness and resulted in a great and well deserved win. Al Sadd won by 2-1 against Al Arabi.

Al Sadd is one of the oldest and most successful; football teams in Qatar. In September 2011 Vodafone announced their five year partnership agreement with the club, which got off to a brilliant start when they won the 2011 AFC Champions League.

“I would like to congratulate Al Sadd football team on winning the opening  match of the Qatar Stars League. It’s a great  start to the season kick-off – We wish them the best of luck and are cheering for them all the way,” said Richard Daly, CEO of Vodafone Qatar.

Al Sadd’s next game will take place on Sunday 23 September against Qatar.
