Qatar’s swimming team opened their campaign in the 22nd GCC Water Games Championship in Bahrain with three medals, one silver and two bronzes on Wednesday.
Qatar’s U-10 relay team consists of Hassan Abdulrahman Al-Obaidan, Hamad Aeyid Al-Obaidely, Abdulrahman Mubarak Al-Mohannadi and Abdulrahim Abdulali won the 100X4 relay silver medal, Qatar’s Hassan Abdulrahman Al-Obaidan clinched bronze medal in the backstroke 50 m and his teammate, Abdulrahman Mubarak Al-Mohannadi won the bronze medal in the Butterfly 50 m.
The championship is organised by Bahrain Swimming Association (BSA) and involves swimmers from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Sultanate of Oman and Qatar.
