Qtel extends free local calls offer for Shahry Packs

Qtel’s Shahry Pack customers will be able to keep in touch with friends and family in Qatar for free for one more month, thanks to an extension of the popular free and unlimited local calls promotion valid for all Shahry Pack customers.

Since the launch of the offer, Qtel has seen a strong response from Shahry Pack customers, who have eagerly taken advantage of free unlimited local calls to any phone in Qatar. With the extension of this promotion, Qtel customers can enjoy another month of amazing value.

The promotion started on 18 August, and many customers shared greetings with families and friends during Eid Al-Fitr, and have continued to enjoy the service through into September.

Shahry customers can choose from six monthly plans that offer great value in bundling services such as local minutes, SMS, MMS and Mobile Internet access. Plans range from a basic no-frills QR 60 plan, to an all-inclusive incredible value QR 1000 plan.

Existing customers do not need to opt-in, because the promotion is automatically available. Once the standard allowance of Shahry Pack local calls has been used, customers can continue to call local numbers for no additional charge. New customers can benefit by signing up for Shahry Packs, and can enjoy great value through to 18 October 2012.

Customers can also select the Shahry International Key service, which lets Shahry Pack customers use the bundle of local calls from each Shahry Pack for international calls and SMS. The unlimited local calls provided by the Free Local Calls promotion cannot be used for international calls.
