Go “Back to School” in style with Qtel’s BlackBerry offer

Students can go “Back to School” in style, thanks to a new Qtel offer that gives customers who buy a new BlackBerry Curve a one-month Hala BlackBerry subscription for free.

While all Qtel customers are able to take advantage of this offer, it is designed for students, enabling them to return to university with an affordable Smartphone and enjoy a free one-month BlackBerry subscription. BlackBerry Curves are the most affordable BlackBerry models on the market.

Curve models that are available include the 9220 (QR 715) and the 9320 (QR 899). Each Curve has a special BBM key for quick access, plus a camera, video recording, 512 MB internal memory, talk time of up to seven hours, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPRS.

Qtel offers incredible value for prepaid BlackBerry services with regular Hala plans available for only QR 15 per week with 250 MB of data allowance. For this promotion, when a customer buys a BlackBerry Curve, he or she will receive a voucher for a one-month free Hala BlackBerry subscription, with a data allowance of 1GB included.

This promotion is available at all Qtel Retail Shops. Customers can visit shops at Qatar Foundation, Landmark Mall, City Center, Lagoona Mall or any other Qtel Retail Shop. Supplies are limited to 2,000 devices only, so Qtel encourages its customers to buy their BlackBerry Curve as soon as possible. The promotion will run from 26 September through 31 October 2012.

If customers exceed their data limit, Qtel offers the low rate of only 55 dhs per 1 MB. When customers reach 80 percent and 100 percent of their data usage, they will receive an SMS alert. Qtel advises customers who tend to go over the data limit or wish to use more data than 250MB per week to buy a Hala Mobile Internet Pack to enjoy the full benefits of Qatar’s most reliable network.
