Qatar’s senior basketball team kept its winning streak in the 13th GCC Basketball Championship by defeating the United Arab Emirates 81-62 on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s victory over the United Arab Emirates was the second consecutive win for the Qatari basketball squad who opened its campaign in the event with a deserving 66-60 victory over Saudi Arabia on Monday. Defending champions, Qatar keeps strong determination to retain their 2010’s title in Dubai by honoring the country here in Manama, Bahrain.

The prestigious championship brings together five-CCG nations, including KSA, UAE, Oman, Qatar and hosts Bahrain.
