W Doha Hotel & Residences: New joiners strengthen Award-Winning Team

W Doha Hotel & Residences, part of the acclaimed W Hotels Worldwide Group with over 40 international hotels and retreats, today welcomes two new joiners to its award-winning team. Jozef Pesta, a hospitality expert with over 17 year’s experience has been recruited as new restaurant manager for the award winning Spice Market restaurant, whilst Michelle Kelleher will take a position as Director of the hotel’s BLISS^® Spa.

Both individuals have been recruited from within the W Hotel portfolio in London, a move that underlines the properties commitment to excellence through bringing international talent to Qatar. Furthermore, the new hires will cement W Doha’s status as the first lifestyle hotel in Qatar.

Jozef Pesta will assume a new position as Restaurant Manager of the Spice Market by Jean-George Vongertichten.

A restaurant inspired by the street food of Southeast Asia, displaying authentic origins whilst offering guests the additional pleasure of a shared dining experience. 

Jozef has impeccable credentials for this new role, having left a similar position at the Spice Market restaurant in London, UK.

Previous experienc includes restaurant management roles within Sir Terence Conran’s prestigious D&D London group, at both Le Pont De La Tour and Coq D’Argent.  At W Doha, Jozef will be responsible for overseeing all areas relating to the customer experience.

Michelle Kelleher is a highly qualified Spa and Beauty manager with excellent customer care and team motivational skills.  She joins BLISS^® Spa at W Doha from a role at the five star W Hotel in Leicester Square, London, where she was responsible for the entire operation of the Away Spa, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Particular passion points include advanced training in Lomi Lomi massage as well as Acupuncture, Botox and Celebrity Tanning. At W Doha, Michelle’s role will be to help drive sales through the spa and introduce new concepts to meet the tastes and needs of the hotel’s discerning and diverse audience.
