Qatar Eco-Film Competition

To celebrate the upcoming climate change conference being held in Doha from the 26^th of November to the 7^th of December, members of the public are invited to participate in Doha’s first ever Eco-Film Competition.

Opened to all aspiring filmmakers, the Qatar Eco-Film Competition is an environmentally themed project designed to encourage students, young people and Doha residents to gain a deeper understanding of various eco-friendly initiatives being carried out in the state of Qatar and to positively showcase these initiatives to a local and international audience.

Competition Theme

To create one 5 minute film that raises awareness on existing eco-friendly initiatives being carried out by any one of the following:

• Any Government Ministry in Qatar
• Any state or privately owned company across any industry operating in Qatar
• Any NGO’s or non-profits operating in the State of Qatar

Prizes include

1^st Place: a QR 3,000 Gift certificate from Virgin Megastore Qatar

2^nd Place: a QR 2,000 Gift certificate from Virgin Megastore Qatar

3^rd Place: a QR 1,000 Gift certificate from Virgin Megastore Qatar
