adidas Women’s Training introduces the new F/W 2012 collection and adiPure

Following last season’s campaign, adidas Women’s Training continues celebrating next generation athletes to inspire and encourage women that workout regularly and want to feel good with themselves. Exercising together is not only more effective, it is definitely more fun.

To reflect this message, the brand has paired together eight leading athletes from all over the world: Bia Feres & Branca Feres (Synchronized Swimming, Brazil), Jessica Ennis (Heptathlon, UK), Ellyse Perry (Cricket and Football, Australia), Louisa Nécib (Football, France), Dinara Fahkritdinova (Climbing, Russia), Jeanette Kwakye (Track & Field, UK) and Kim Kulig (Football, Germany) to take part in three tailored workouts and show how working out hard whilst encouraging and having fun with each other, can turn out to be an enriching experience.

Ellyse & Louisa, and Jessica & Jeanette were paired together to experience the Speed and Agility work out. Fast reaction and testing limits were the work-out’s main focus. Directly linked to it is the adiZero range, which offers for FW12 a wide selection of lightweight products thanks to the adiZero technology, cutlines that offer the flexibility, alignment and building core balance essential to make you faster by leaving your limits behind and support your body to work out for speed with light materials combined with vibrant colours and exciting graphics. Key pieces are the adiZero windbreaker jacket, adiZero tank and tights.

The Strength and Power exercise with “Medicine Balls” focused on strengthening, resistance and stability. The workout was experienced by Bia & Branca and Dinara & Kim. It is directly linked to the ranges adipower and Studio Power, with pieces that support a perfect posture and power up every activity, due to its compression technologies. Highlights are sharp and structured details, embossing and gel prints in tanks, tights and jackets; making the apparel look feminine whilst powerful. This effect is further enhanced by a palette of strong colours that are nevertheless flattering and girly.

The third work out is General Conditioning practised by Bia & Branca, Ellyse & Louisa and Dinara & Kim. Connected to this exercise is the Clima Training range, another highlight for the FW12 season, featuring authentic sports products with integrated technology whilst offering an iconic street look. Highlight is the athletic colour block achieved through layering solid coloured pieces in various lengths, which simplifies the look and in addition, the layered construction with integrated Clima technologies that allow natural ventilation to keep you dry and comfortable.

To perfectly complement the lightweight adiZero apparel and complete the FW12 look, the adiPure is the newest adidas shoe for training created to maximize your workout due to its flexibility. It provides runners of all levels with the perfect add-on to their running routine. It’s specifically designed for the type of movements that are required in gym classes or training sessions; offering the ability to perform multidirectional movements and static poses on every intensity level.  The range helps to build up the feet’s musculoskeletal system so that runners can become faster and stronger in the purest, most natural way.

The adiPure shoes also feature the innovative adidas Techfit Upper. The design of the Techfit Upper ultimately allows the foot to spread out unhindered, without sacrificing stability, thus creating a totally natural experience. The 4-way stretch mesh combined with precision-located polyurethane (PU) print allows the foot to function naturally whilst providing fluid support.

The newadidaswomen’s Fall/Winter starts hitting the Qatar retail market in October 2012.

Note: adidas offers products out of two different divisions: Sport Performance (leading technologies), Sport Style (Fashion Group and Originals). The adidas Women’s range is part of the adidas Sport Performance division.
